A hike in Griffith Park, followed by a picnic...
The park was packed with people, and you can park along Fern Dell, off of Los Feliz right where it turns into Western. We hiked up the trail that lead to the Observatory. Then we continued on to what my friend called "Dante's Peak." Not sure if that's really what it's called, but what a funny name, especially considering how scorching hot it felt up there.
On Sunday, escaping the heat with mani/pedi time with family. Followed by wandering around in Little Tokyo, which I appreciate much more when I'm there for fun, not work. We spent the most time in Kinokuniya.
Not only do they have magazines and books, but a huge crafty section that makes my art supply addiction flare up again.
