If you want Ikea prices but with a wider variety of furniture styles, check out Urban Home. I've been a stalker of their website for a long time, and they actually have a pretty good website. I've visited the store in Simi Valley, but that's not a very convenient location.. but luckily for us Central Angelenos, they just opened up in West LA in the Westside Pavilion mall!
I've selected a few pieces that I like, and that Ava side chair is one I was considering for my dining room for a loooooooooooooong time. Eventually I ended up going the Craigslist route, but if you want affordable but good looking furniture, I highly recommend checking Urban Home out!
