They say you can't get anything for a dollar anymore. I say yeah probably not, but for $8 you can get an afternoon of fun treasure hunting at the Rose Bowl Flea Market. Just make sure you haggle. I was offered $100 for a rug, which was supposedly going for $300 in a retail store. A minute of acting like I was unsure and the price dropped to $75. Another minute of consulting with my friend and the price dropped to $60. A few steps away from the rug and the price dropped to $50. Although I was still unsatisfied with the price and ultimately went home empty handed, it was nontheless a good rush.
